Here is why cheap training is actually far more expensive than quality training:

“S&C is without question the lowest hanging performance enhancing fruit.

But, people think quality training is expensive so they undervalue it.

They try to get around it by buying cheap ‘training’ without understanding how much more expensive cheap training is compared to quality.”

-Ray Zingler on X

And no, I’m not talking about a high volume weight lifting class while the “coach” plays on his phone or some “speed & agility” BS at the local park with some random bro yelling “faster, fasterrr..”

I’m talking about REAL Strength & Conditioning

Performance training that is calculated & planned with progressive intentionality by a seasoned Professional with significant experience to auto regulate the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of training on a day-to-day basis so that he can positively influence the global development of the athletes under his care.

Despite the average consumer throwing all “trainers” in the same bucket, there are Pro’s out there who can change the trajectory of a sporting career and human life, and there are Joes out there with $87 worth of crap in a duffle bag with saucers for eyeballs knowing how quickly you’ll hit their Venmo in exchange for randomized activity that is absolutely absent of validity.

You see most people know the price of everything, but the value of nothing.

And if they took the time to think critically, they’d recognize just how much “more expensive” cheap training is than quality training.

Here’s why:

Most trainers are in this game because they are chasing short money. (This is precisely why they don’t last in the field. Training/Fitness has some of the highest turnover rates of any industry.)

They charge cut rates in an effort to leverage more clients because they think more clients = more money.

But what happens as the clients go up? The quality goes down.

This is a monumental negative especially when the quality wasn’t good to begin with. They go from bad to shitty, despite having a little extra short cash on hand to hire a cut rate (you guessed it) videographer to make them look cool on social.

But, because most consumers are attracted to low-cost options, they’ll typically jump at the cheaper option.

But the reason the cheaper option is the more expensive is because you as the consumer lose not once, but twice

You lose money & time.

This is why investing in the higher quality option is always going to be most cost effective.

Never forget, price is what you pay, but value is what you get.

Invest in quality training. The ROI compounds forever.
