The World Will Work Tirelessly To Cut Them Down.

But you get to be a believer, a real fan, and here is why that is so important:

“They got plenty of people telling them they’re not good enough. Hell, many of them tell themselves that.

The world will have its fair share of opportunities to beat them down.

But you know what you can be?

A believer.

A fan.

You can be a light for them in a dark world.”

It’s so easy, it’s hard.

Many people get so consumed with their own personal “life stuff” that they forget the reason we are here is to provide value to others.

Or, their egos are so large, they can’t even get out of their own way enough to recognize this life isn’t about them, but what they can do for others.

Fulfillment doesn’t come from selfishly serving yourself, it comes from pouring into another.

What’s the point of beating a kid down?

Affirming a negative thought, they might already deeply believe about themselves.

Does shooting down their dreams and aspirations really have value? Does that accomplish anything positive?

You’re trying to “protect them”? You say.

From what?

The potential to achieve something extraordinary?

You’d rather see them go down the predictable, traditional path, make a couple bucks pushing papers or doing some other trivial, unfulfilling work so they can maybe one day buy a cookie cutter house on an overcrowded piece of land their designer dog can’t’ even stretch it’s legs on?

Maybe I’m crazy, but I’d rather fail 100 times doing something purposeful than resort to being a cog in a machine with 2 weeks paid vacation.

Rest assured; they have plenty of people telling them they aren’t good enough.

That it doesn’t makes sense.

That it‘s too risky.

And if people audibly telling them that isn’t enough, their ideas are being further shot to shreds with every scroll of the social media page that is making them believe they “could never do this”.

Trust that the world is going to have its’ fair share of opportunities to beat them to a pulp. Kick them when they are down, open up the flood gates as if the driving rain alone isn’t enough.

And guess what, this is going to happen even if you try to manicure their perfect path to conformity and safety.

The world is going to do what the world is going to do.

But you?

You can be a believer.

A fan.

You can support their intrinsic desires and what might sound “risky” to you on the surface?

Not only will they be happier.

They might just accomplish what everyone else is telling them is impossible.

Be a catalyst.

Be a light.
