Joe's Do It For Themselves, Pro's Do It For Them.

Joe's & Pro's are playing vastly different games, yielding vastly different outcomes.

Joe’s & Pro’s are playing vastly different games, yielding vastly different outcomes.

“The biggest difference between Joe’s & Pro’s is who they do it for.

Joe’s are selfish, they do it for themselves.

Pro’s? Pro’s do it for them. They recognize this life is not about what they can do for themselves, but what they can do for others.

Be a Pro.

Live the code.”

It’s fairly easy to tell the Pro’s from the Joe’s.

The Pro’s walk differently, they talk differently, they carry themselves differently, and most importantly they act differently.

Their presence is not only seen, but felt in interactions from micro to macro. They quite literally have the ability to light up and take control of a room. And they don’t have to use a lot of words, either.

Pro’s just have a special aura about them that is often hard to put a distinct finger on. It’s what I believe to be the “it” factor.

What is the biggest difference between Pro’s and Joe’s?

Rarely is it skills, education, or resources.

Often it comes down to the game they are playing.

Joe’s very regularly play the, maybe subconsciously, selfish game. They are in it for themselves, for their own personal gain. “How can I manipulate ‘x’ to yield the most favorable outcome for me, personally” without paying any mind to who or what they have to manipulate, step over, or mistreat in the process.

Pro’s, on the other hand are consciously playing the unselfish game. They are intently focused on ensuring that the decisions they make have the ability to benefit & yield favorable outcomes for those in their scope of influence. They are “them” driven versus “themselves” driven.

It doesn’t mean that Pro’s don’t care about themselves or the wellbeing of their family’s first, of course they do, they have to. In order to  “be able to do it for others” Pro’s must take care of themselves first.

The difference though, is that for Joe’s taking care of themselves is the “means to an end” and for the Pro’s taking care of themselves is precisely what gives them the bandwidth to do what they are actually most passionate about, which is serving, taking care of, and doing it for others.

This is why Joe’s can never compete with Pro’s long-term. They are playing dramatically different games with the Pro’s being far more valuable to society.

If you want to be a Pro, all you have to do is shift your mindset.

Admittedly it takes work, but where this is no work, there is no harvest.

It’s not about what you have, it’s about what they get.
