Winners care. Losers don’t. It’s that simple.
“You cannot teach ‘give a sh*t’.
Yo0u can lead by example & try to inspire the expression of another’s intrinsic motivations, but you cannot teach them to give a sh*t.
It’s for this reason winners will always win and losers will always lose.
‘Give a sh*t’ is the difference.”

There aren’t many absolutes in life, but one for sure is that you cannot teach ‘give a sh*t’.
You can force athletes, employees, or colleagues to temporarily comply by dangling a reward over their head, but you can’t teach them to care over the long haul.
This is something that is engrained in human DNA via one’s upbringing and exposure to quality leaders and mentors, but even then ‘give a sh*t’ still isn’t guaranteed.
It’s either in your bones or it ain’t.
As somebody who gives a sh*t, the concept of not giving a sh*t used to be so foreign to me.
As a young, hard charging entrepreneur, I was literally baffled and confused when I learned that some (many) people just don’t care.
This was so confusing to me because I learned winning is literally so easy.
All you have to do is work really hard and care all the time.
It doesn’t take much skill at all, it doesn’t care about your background, or what base you were born on, either.
Winning just asks that you work really hard and give a sh*t about what it is you’re doing.
Because I know that giving a sh*t can’t be taught, but rather absorbed this helps me adjust my strategy when trying to lead others.
I can talk about it & I can tell people all about the benefits of it, but nothing will speak louder than my consistent actions.
It is my goal not to force somebody to care, again that is impossible, but to lead by example so that my actions might inspire another to express their intrinsic motivations.
From there, my hope is that there is a snowball effect in the life of the individual I’m leading.
I am very passionate about this stuff because I am a rather low skill guy.
And over the years I’ve learned just how well working hard and caring works.
It is quite literally the differentiator between winners and losers.
Losers don’t work hard and don’t care.
Winners work hard and care.
Sure, there are a few outliers in the mix, but winning and losing largely boils down to effort and care.
If you’re struggling to win, try working really hard and caring.
It works well.
